Do you own a Nokia s60v5 (eg. 5230, 5233, 5235, 5800) etc phone? Bored with the old conventional looks, are you trying to change the user interface (UI) with many themes, and apps like SPB or so? Yes, of course you can do so but, ultimately when you format the phone, all these things are gone. Changing the looks also don't improve any performance of the phone, but in some cases they might be extremely helpful to downgrade your phone performance by unnecessarily eating up your phone's RAM.
What dou you do, when the old Windows 98 is not up to your expectations? Yes, you upgrade your PC with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 as the case may be! That is the case with your Nokia phones too. The OS of firmware(FW) which is provided with your Nokia device, needs to be upgraded to reach your needs and expectations.
Now, FW are of two types:
1. Original Firmware or OFW which is provided by Nokia and
2. Custom firmware or CFW which is provided by so Symbian modders like PNHT, etc free of cost.
Which one is ideal for you, OFW or CFW? Check this in my subsequent posts..
